How long to wait to conceive after getting the Flu vaccine?

vaccine flu

I got a flu vaccine with Thimerosal today (5 days into my cycle) and I am planning to get pregnant. How long should I get before trying to conceive to avoid passing any mercury to my child? How long does it take for my body to get rid of the thimerosal? I really appreciate your help.

Really I would suggest you talk to your Doctor.

I have heardc that next year all pregnant Mums will be getting the Flu jab because it protects babiies form things like leukaemia.

    But Just incase…

Leave it as long as possible that you thinks safe

There are very few vaccines in which patients are specifically told not to get pregnant for a certain amount of time. The flu vaccine is not one of them.
